In an effort to ensure the safety of our staff and clients, we are utilizing low-contact service to all our clients for all pet care needs.
With the mask mandate ending, we are excited to share with you all our process in transitioning towards reopening South Bay Veterinary Hospital and resuming normal operations. During the last two years, we completed a renovation project, added new associate veterinarians and team members to our South Bay family.
We have decided that a slow transition to normal operations is what is best for our clients, onboarding veterinarians, and team members, as some have never seen our hospital function outside of a pandemic; this requires new training and refreshers for all. We are committed to practicing the same high standard of care this community has grown accustomed to from our care team while ensuring our team is properly prepared for a re-opening.
We will be continuing current COVID protocols with no alterations until April 1, 2022.
- Beginning April 1, we will be unlocking the canine and feline entrances and allowing doctor appointments only to check-in at the front desk and enter the hospital.
- As a medical facility, masks will be required for those attending the doctor appointments with their pets.
- All surgery check-ins/discharges, technician appointments, and retail/medication pick-up will remain curbside.
- Please note that as we make these changes, curbside appointments will continue to be offered.
We very much look forward to seeing you all again as we make strides to return to normalcy after these past two years. We appreciate your kindness and understanding as we begin this transition. Please follow our social media and website for the latest updates as we transition to reopening. See you soon!
